CLIENT

Nespresso — a premium coffee brand of Nestlé Nespresso S.A., built around a portioned coffee system combining capsule machines with a curated range of coffees. The brand operates through a direct-to-consumer model with an official online store and boutiques, and is known for a strong focus on design, experience and sustainability.

BACKGROUND

(pre-AI times) We was responsible for the local design work for Nespresso in Poland. Since most brand materials were driven globally, this was part of the early wave of locally produced visuals tailored for the Polish market.
The key visual was built as a full Photoshop composite from stock imagery and client assets: manual relighting, crafted shadows, reflections and highlights, plus additional vector elements. The KV then expanded into a full retail set: POS materials.

IDEA

A Polish wordplay: “latte” sounds like “lato” — “summer” in Polish. So the line reads like a seasonal sequence, with coffee as the twist. The visual follows that idea: airy pastel sky and clean whitespace for a light summer mood, balanced with a premium product focus and a playful, slightly surreal touch.

2026 UPGRADE

Back then it was all manual compositing. Today, with AI in the loop, the same KV can evolve: cleaner realism, better material response (glass/ice/foam), and faster iteration without sacrificing control. The upgrade isn’t just “prettier” — it unlocks a whole system of deliverables: multiple angles, crops and seasonal versions built from one master, consistent enough to scale across formats.
