CONCEPT

A rebrand designed to feel unmistakably hers — personal, hand-made, and funny in a very “Michalina” way.

The direction grew out of our shared conversations: after a few of them, the tone felt owned by her, not “designed for her.” Real-life details became part of the identity (like her favourite chair — the one she rocks in while thinking), so the brand reads as lived-in, not styled.

EXECUTION

I created the rebrand and web design, and collaborated with a developer on the final look. I drew all illustrations and created handmade, frame-by-frame stop-motion animations myself. The site is full of playful layers: the Archive section is treated like an “X-Files” case file, with easter eggs woven in. A recurring character — the hamster living in Michalina’s bun — later became the lead of a micro-animation that brought the rebrand to life on her Instagram.
